Helping You Feel Better, Move Better, and Live Without Constant Pain
Pain doesn’t always come from the gym.
For many people, it comes from long workdays, stress, repetitive movements, pregnancy, or the physical demands of everyday life. Aleisha focuses on helping patients reduce pain, improve movement, and return to the activities that matter most.
Her calm, collaborative treatment style emphasizes understanding the whole person rather than simply treating the painful area. She believes every patient deserves individualized care that supports both immediate relief and long-term recovery.
She combines massage therapy with myofascial techniques, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, stretching, and movement education to create treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals.
As both an educator and lifelong learner, Aleisha enjoys helping patients understand why pain develops and how simple changes can improve recovery and prevent future injuries. With her background in volleyball, soccer, and running, she also brings an added layer of insight when working with athletes and active individuals.
Outside the clinic, Aleisha enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and continually expanding her clinical knowledge to better support her patients. She also supports students as a teaching assistant in Langara College’s RMT Continuing Studies program; a role she finds incredibly rewarding and meaningful.
Whether you’re preparing for motherhood, recovering from an injury, managing chronic tension, or simply looking to feel your best again, Aleisha is committed to helping you move comfortably and confidently.

Helping Athletes Recover, Perform, and Stay in the Game
Whether you’re preparing for your next competition, chasing a new personal best, or simply trying to train pain-free, Michael believes rehabilitation should help you perform, not just relieve symptoms.
As the founder of Kilos Strength + Rehab, Michael has built his practice around treating active individuals who refuse to let pain stop them from doing what they love. His philosophy combines evidence-informed manual therapy with strength and movement-based rehabilitation to help patients return stronger than before.
Michael’s approach to rehabilitation is deeply personal. Throughout his own training, he was frequently told that the solution to pain was simply to “stop lifting” or “stop playing sports.” While well-intentioned, that advice was rarely realistic and never addressed the underlying cause of the problem. Instead of accepting that pain meant giving up the activities he loved, Michael became passionate about understanding why injuries occur and how rehabilitation can help people continue doing what they enjoy safely and confidently.
That personal experience continues to shape his treatment philosophy today. Rather than encouraging patients to avoid movement, Michael focuses on identifying the root cause of pain and developing practical treatment and rehabilitation strategies that help people return to training, competition, work, and everyday life with confidence.
Being a competitive powerlifter and a recreational basketball player himself gives Michael firsthand experience with the physical demands of heavy training. He understands that athletes don’t simply want pain relief, they want to squat, bench, deadlift, run, climb, and compete without unnecessary limitations.
His treatments combine hands-on manual therapy, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, movement assessment, and individualized rehabilitation exercises. Every treatment plan is tailored to each patient’s goals, whether that’s returning to competition, recovering after an injury, or improving long-term movement quality.
Outside the clinic, Michael is dedicated to competitive powerlifting and is a proud 2× British Columbia Provincial Champion and Western Canada Runner Up. He continues to challenge himself in training because he believes the combination of intelligent strength training and guided rehabilitation is what allows people to perform at their best.
Whether you’re stepping onto the competition platform, training for your next race, or simply trying to stay active without pain, Michael’s goal is to help you move better, recover smarter, and continue doing what you love.
